Everyday carry

These are the items I carry in my pockets on a daily basis as "everyday carry" or EDC:

• Spyderco Dragonfly 2 FRN (or, rarely, since it's a bit too long, Benchmade 535 Bugout) knife clipped onto front left pocket

  I always carry a knife on me unless I'm traveling to a location where they're prohibited. The Spyderco is more compact than most small folding knives and comfortable in the hand. I like the styling of the Benchmade a bit more though, with its blue accents.

• iPhone in front right pocket, with screen facing in

  I prefer smaller phones since I can use them one-handed more easily.

• Apple Watch on right wrist

  I like a smaller watch, too.

• Badger Active Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 35 and Drunk Elephant Lip Balm in front left pocket

  Despite not being SPF 50, this is one of the best formulations for mineral sunscreen I've found and very convenient to carry. The lip balm has an internal twist mechanism under the lid so it doesn't get extended in my pocket.

• RE:FORM RE:02 Card Holder wallet in back right pocket

  I tend to only carry a few cards and one or two bills and this holds enough while still being relatively slim.
