Bike chain cleanliness

I’ve always dreaded the mess and maintenance of a bike chain. At one point, I had sworn off all chain-based drivetrains and wanted to buy belt-drive bikes exclusively. Last year, however, I found the ideal way to keep a clean bicycle drivetrain with chains, using wax instead of oil.
